Discovery & Strategy
Before we dive into pixels and code, I take the time to understand your business, your goals, and your audience. Through a discovery questionnaire, I will map out what success looks like, plan your sitemap, and create a strategy that sets your website up to achieve actual results.
Design
This is where your website starts to come to life! After nailing down the strategy, we dive into the visual elements. We’ll create a style tile (think of it like a moodboard, but for your website) so you can see the fonts, colours, and imagery together. The goal is to give you a clear picture of your site’s look and feel before we head into the build.
Development
With the visuals locked in, it’s time to build! Your website is developed on WordPress using clean, responsive code so it looks great on any device. We start with the homepage to give you another chance to see the design in action. Once you’re happy with the direction, we continue building out the rest of the site.
Review & Refinement
Once the website is completely built, you’ll get the chance to review it and share any feedback. We’ll fine-tune the details and make sure everything is aligned before moving on to the final stage.
Testing & Launch
Before going live, I’ll do a full quality check. That means making sure your website is responsive, loads quickly, forms are functioning, and everything works seamlessly across browsers and devices. Once everything is polished and ready, it’s time to launch your new website into the world!
Ongoing Support
Didn’t think you’d get rid of me that quickly, did you? After launch, you’ll have 2 months of included hosting and maintenance. During that time I’ll look after your website, keep everything up to date, and be around to answer any questions. At the end of that period, you can choose to continue with me on a care plan or take over management yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add extra pages?
Yes of course! You can choose to add in pages upfront or down the track for an additional fee, the beauty of your website is it will be built to scale as your business grows.
Can I add a shop/eCommerce or other features?
Definitely! We can add on a shop, calendars for you to take bookings, membership sites – you name it! We’ll talk through what you need during our initial call and I’ll include it all in your proposal so the pricing is clear and transparent.
Will my website be secure?
Yes. Every site I build comes with a valid SSL certificate (that little padlock in the browser bar), security plugins, spam protection, and regular updates during your included care period. I use trusted tools and best practices to keep your site as safe as possible. For long-term peace of mind, I recommend clients signing onto my WordPress maintenance plan, this includes ongoing security checks and updates.
What happens after the website is launched?
I ghost you and you never hear from me again. KIDDING!
Included in all packages are 2 months of the standard website care plan, so I’ll be keeping an eye on things and making sure your website is running smoothly. I’ll check in with you regularly during this period, and then at the end of the 2 month period you can decide whether you want to stick around on a care plan or take over managing the site yourself.
How long does it take to build my website?
It depends on things like size, scope and how quick you are to give feedback. As a guideline:
- Starter (single page): 2–3 weeks
- Launch (multi-page): 4–6 weeks
Are there any ongoing costs?
Yep! There are a few standard costs to keep your website online:
- Domain renewal: usually $10–20/year (varies depending on your registrar and what type of domain)
- Hosting: around $10–30/month (I can give you recommendations if you’re unsure)
- Premium plugins: I generally avoid these unless absolutely necessary, and I’ll always discuss options with you first.
